Job summary

Lowe’s in New Philadelphia, OH, is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers find products, discuss project needs, and turn ideas into home improvements. You’ll serve as a product expert across departments, delivering consultative service and coordinating with vendors to drive orders and sales.

You will be part of a fast-paced store team, supporting checkout, pricing, and customer follow-up while training others and growing with Lowe’s benefits and programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience, or 3 years external sales if education not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with measurable goals.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods; lift 25 lbs unassisted.
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handle estimates, orders, and scheduling.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors and stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout, prompts, and department requests; train associates on the floor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
