Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to engage customers in-store, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products. You will help complete orders, coordinate with teams, and promote Lowe's services and promotions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's offerings.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, processing orders and scheduling services.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to locate merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist colleagues as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
