Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist in the United States to engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them toward suitable products and services. You’ll become a product expert, sharing features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll rotate across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, with a focus on delivering exceptional consulting and helping customers meet home improvement goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.
• Obtains sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe’s will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors for estimates, scheduling installers, and order tracking.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate replacements with vendors.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and department requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
