Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist in the United States. You will be one of the first people our customers meet, helping them identify project needs and guiding them toward the right products, services, and financing options to close a sale.

You’ll be a product expert in departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Live Nursery, provide SMART customer service, coordinate installations, and support checkout and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year sales/customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining product benefits.
• Serve as a point of contact within your department for customers and vendors.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist with customer requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and support development.
