Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers select products and transform home improvement ideas into reality. You will engage with customers, answer questions, and close sales with guidance on promotions and financing.

You’ll work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, or Windows & Walls, providing expert product knowledge and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent external sales experience).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; capable of standing/walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installers, and track orders.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and store communications.
• Train associates and coach development needs.
