Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is looking for a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products, ensuring a smooth path from idea to purchase. You will become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You may work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, or others. This fast-paced role entails active movement, phones, and outstanding service daily.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimum lifting of 25 lbs unassisted; team lifts for heavier loads when needed.
• Willingness to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product benefits.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and train associates on product knowledge.
