Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become a product expert, sharing specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role involves active store work across departments, ongoing customer interactions, and collaboration with vendors. Training and potential advancement are available within a project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years external if education not met)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating the advantages of Lowe's products.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within department; provide estimates, schedule visits, process orders, and follow up for completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors/stores to find merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned
