Job summary

IDEX in the United States Midwest region is seeking a Distribution Sales Manager to grow BAND-IT product sales through regional distributors and end‑users. This home‑based role covers Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, with travel up to 50% to support partners and events.

You will develop strategic plans, manage a robust CRM pipeline, and collaborate across BAND-IT HQ in Denver to deliver value, solve customer challenges, and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years selling to industrial distributors.
• Experience establishing relationships with OEMs, contractors, industrial partners, or engineering consultants.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and grow regional distribution accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with existing distribution partners and target new partners for growth.
• Execute calls with end‑user partners to capture VOC and NPD opportunities.
• Develop Time & Territory Plans to contact distributor locations in the geography.
• Maintain a CRM pipeline with defined projects contributing to the sales funnel.
• Prepare and present BAND-IT capabilities and solutions to customers.
