Job summary

BAND-IT, part of IDEX, seeks a Distribution Sales Manager to grow regional distribution in the Midwest USA. This home-based role interfaces with BAND-IT HQ in Denver and requires developing strategic and tactical plans to expand sales of BAND-IT products through distribution networks and end users.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in industrial sales, strong relationship-building and value-selling skills, and the ability to manage a robust CRM while traveling up to 50% to meet customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience selling to diverse industrial distributors and direct selling in industrial products.
• Experience establishing relationships with customers including OEMs, contractors, and engineering consultants.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and grow sales of regional distribution accounts.
• Conduct regular contact with distribution partners for regional growth.
• Conduct regular sales calls with end users to drive VOC and NPD opportunities.
• Develop and execute a Time & Territory Plan for distributor and representative locations.
• Maintain a CRM growth funnel with defined projects contributing to sales pipeline.
• Prepare and present presentations about BAND-IT capabilities to customers.
• Communicate BAND-IT products and capabilities to customers and prospects.
• Identify and follow up on sales leads and new opportunities.
• Travel up to 50% and participate in customer events and meetings.
