Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer to join a dynamic project team focused on high voltage substation design and project management. You will actively participate in conceptualization, planning, and execution, and support complex electrical engineering challenges while meeting client requirements.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days, plus a relocation package depending on your location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 3+ years in design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within budget and schedule.
• Experience tracking schedules and expenditures and client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Experience reviewing others' drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project conceptualization, planning, and execution.
• Investigate and solve electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports presenting technical and project information per client and S&L formats.
• Learn from peers through S&L's Communities of Practice.
• Possibly travel to client sites.
