Paychex is seeking a mid-market sales professional to drive new business within a territory of small to mid-size firms. You will engage with business owners, present a robust HR and payroll solutions suite, and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing.

This role emphasizes consultative, solution-based selling, proactive outbound prospecting, and building long-term client relationships. A background in B2B sales and CRM proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional or sales experience (HCM experience preferred but not required).
• Ability to navigate consultative, solution-based sales conversations.
• Strong prospecting mindset with outbound activity.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory.
• Sell a robust suite of Paychex solutions, including Paychex Flex and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a pipeline.
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high velocity sales process with small- to mid-size businesses (1-2 call closes).
• Own the full sales process—from discovery to closing.
