Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a high-performing Named Account Manager for the Midmarket segment in the Hartford area. You will manage up to 35 accounts, build executive relationships with key stakeholders, and expand Proofpoint’s footprint across a diverse set of security solutions.

You will collaborate with channel partners, drive full sales cycles, and protect customers from advanced threats while achieving revenue targets and renewal education on the Proofpoint roadmap.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of overachievement in field sales.
• Executive-level engagement with decision-makers (CISO/CIO/CMO).
• Proven ability to manage midmarket accounts and forecast accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the plan to target named accounts with a focus on forecast accuracy and Salesforce hygiene.
• Identify add-on opportunities within incumbent book of business and upsell/cross-sell across the Proofpoint Platform.
• Become a subject-matter expert on Proofpoint value and competitive differentiation; build account plans for assigned customers.
• Partner with internal and external ecosystem partners while managing 6–10 customer/partner meetings weekly.
