Job summary

Proofpoint is looking for a high-performing Named Account Manager to manage up to 35 mid-market named accounts, with a mix of whitespace and existing customers. Sell the entire Proofpoint Platform while collaborating with internal and external ecosystem partners.

The candidate must reside in NY, Northern NJ, or Southern CT and will expand Proofpoint’s footprint while protecting customers from advanced threats.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field sales experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Experience working with Channel Partners and selling via two-tier distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop account plans for named accounts and identify add-on opportunities.
• Sell the entire Proofpoint Platform while working with partners and ecosystem teammates.
• Expand the Proofpoint footprint and market leadership while protecting customers from threats.
• Engage senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, etc.) and maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce.
