Relative Dynamics seeks a Mid-Level System Engineer to support the USGS ER0S Center in Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time, on-site role requires collaboration with scientists and engineers and involves ground station systems, RF equipment, and satellite communications development.

You will work on meaningful Earth science projects and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge satellite tech while collaborating with a motivated team in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years in Satellite Communications Engineering.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Residency requirement for government credential.

Responsibilities

• Support ground station equipment and satellite comms systems.
• Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineers.
• Follow SEMP and CM processes for configurations.
• Prepare operations concepts and requirements documentation.
• Conduct architecture and trade studies; plan integration.
• Assist in remote partner integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
