Job summary

Relative Dynamics seeks a Mid-Level System Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD, to support the USGS EROS Center. This full-time, onsite role requires regular in-person interaction with team members, scientists, and mission partners.

You will provide engineering support for ground station equipment and develop satellite ground systems, collaborating with Systems, Hardware, and Software teams to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Satellite Communications/Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years in Satellite Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR.
• Residency requirement for government security credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and maintenance for ground station equipment.
• Support satellite communications systems engineering to develop ground-based systems.
• Coordinate activities with Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineers and project teams.
• Conduct SEMP-aligned activities including requirements, interfaces, and integration testing.
• Support remote partner integration locations and CM processes.
