Job summary

Relative Dynamics is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to support the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center. This is a full-time, on-site role in Sioux Falls, SD, requiring in-person collaboration with scientists and partners.

You will work on ground station systems, RF equipment, and satellite communications subsystems to meet mission requirements. The ideal candidate has a 4–6 year background in satellite engineering, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Satellite Communications/Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years in Satellite Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• US Citizenship due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and maintenance for ground station equipment.
• Develop Satellite Communications ground systems per mission requirements.
• Coordinate with Systems, Hardware, and Software engineers and project teams.
• Contribute to integration testing and formal analysis.
