Job summary

Relative Dynamics is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to support the USGS EROS Center from Sioux Falls, SD. The role is full-time and onsite, requiring collaboration with scientists and mission partners on satellite communications projects.

You will provide systems engineering and maintenance for ground station equipment, and work with a team of engineers to ensure mission requirements are met. This position requires in-person collaboration and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Satellite Communications/Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years in Satellite Communications Engineering or equivalent is required.
• US Citizenship is required due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and maintenance for ground station equipment.
• Support Satellite Communications systems engineering to develop ground-based systems per mission requirements (antennas, RF equipment, and all related ground station gear).
• Communicate status with Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineers and project teams.
