Job summary

Relative Dynamics is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to support the USGS EROS Center in Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time, onsite role requires in-person collaboration with scientists and partners to advance satellite communications systems and ground-based engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Satellite Communications/Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years in Satellite Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• US Citizenship due to ITAR requirements.
• Three years of continuous residency in the U.S. for Government credential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and maintenance for all ground station equipment.
• Develop satellite ground systems per mission requirements, including antennas and RF equipment.
• Coordinate activities with Systems, Hardware, Software Engineers and project teams.
• Conduct systems engineering activities per the SEMP.
• Support architecture studies, integration plans, and formal integration testing.
• Assist with remote partner location integration.
• Ensure activities comply with standards and CM processes.
