Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Lab Supervisor, Microbiology (Day Shift, Weekends) to oversee a 6am-4:30pm shift and ensure timely microbiology testing and environmental monitoring.

You’ll lead a cross-functional shift, drive quality, safety, and CIP activities, manage budget for headcount and OT, and partner with production to meet daily objectives. Strong leadership and compliance awareness are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts required to deliver quality and compliance performance for the shift.
• Initiate, manage, and make decisions which impact product quality.
• Manage budget accountability for headcount, overtime (OT), and direct expenses for a shift.
• Track, trend and continuously improve budgetary performance for headcount, OT, direct expenses, lab efficiencies, scrap and CIP projects.
