Job summary

Combined Metals Company LLC in the United States is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to develop and manage key customer accounts within the metals industry. You will work closely with the Outside Sales team to grow the business, respond to inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction through accurate order processing and effective communication.

The role requires 2+ years of sales experience in metals or an associate degree, proficiency with CRM software, and strong Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in the metals industry preferred or associate degree required.
• Experience with CRM software is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Suites including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and requirements.
• Manage assigned accounts to achieve company goals related to this position.
• Works closely with the Outside Sales Representative to facilitate growth and manage customer relations.
• Qualify leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, website, and other sources.
• Respond to inquiries and proactively provide information regarding order status, deliveries, quality, or other inquiries in a timely manner.
• Work with Inventory, Quality, Accounts Receivable, and Marketing as needed to ensure quality customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Gain and maintain a working knowledge of all company systems including ERP, CRM, etc.
• Utilize CRM to document all customer interactions (i.e., calls, emails, sales activity, tasks & report preparation).
• Work with customers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Travel locally to customers or trade shows as required.
