Job summary

Elavon, Inc. seeks an experienced Outside Sales Account Executive to support Business Banking partners across Northern California.

The role focuses on developing new merchant services opportunities with businesses generating $1M–$10M in annual revenue, while building strong partnerships with banking teams throughout the territory. You will travel widely, meet partners and clients in person, and use Salesforce to track opportunities and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience
• Ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with BMO business banking partners, resulting in referral production.
• Develop a strong presence within your market through regular in-person meetings with bank partners, prospects, and clients.
• Utilize Salesforce daily to manage opportunities, activities, and pipeline growth.
• Prospect for and develop profitable new business relationships by selling merchant payment processing solutions to SMBs.
• Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of local market conditions, client needs, products and services.
• Present customized payment solutions to prospective clients, demonstrating how Elavon can support growth and goals.
• Implement and maintain a referral network and call program to maximize sales opportunities.
• Receive training in a remote environment while managing an active field-based sales schedule.
• Travel extensively throughout the Bay Area market to meet with referral partners and business owners.
