Job summary

Elavon, Inc. in Northern California is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Account Executive to expand merchant services with businesses generating $1M-$10M in annual revenue.

You will build partnerships with banking teams, travel to client sites, and drive new business growth through in-person meetings and strategic referrals. Ideal candidates thrive in relationship-driven sales, manage a defined territory, and bring 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Ability to travel 3–4 days per week.
• Experience managing a territory-based B2B sales role.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with BMO business banking partners, resulting in consistent referral production.
• Develop a strong presence within your market through regular in-person meetings with partners, prospects, and clients.
• Utilize Salesforce daily to manage opportunities, activities, and pipeline growth.
• Prospect for and develop profitable new business relationships by selling merchant payment processing solutions.
• Identify business opportunities based on local market knowledge, client needs, products, and services.
• Present customized payment solutions to prospective clients to support growth and operational goals.
• Implement and maintain a referral network and call program across the territory.
• Receive guidance and training in a remote environment while managing an active field-based schedule.
• Travel extensively throughout the Bay Area market to meet with referral partners and business owners.
