Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study, conducting in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult respondents across designated areas. Interviewers will travel to households, schedule and complete interviews, and collect signed documents using Westat-provided equipment.

Position is part-time with two data collection periods annually. Training sessions and travel to in-person trainings are required early in 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based training and Teams sessions in January 2027.
• Must travel for in-person trainings and occasional overnight travel.
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week when work is available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect documents.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security requirements.
