Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to support the MEPS survey. Interviewers conduct in-person and remote interviews with households, schedule visits, and transmit data daily.

The role requires travel for training and potential overnight stays, with part-time, multi-period data collection across two yearly rounds. Mandatory training windows are specified in January 2027, followed by ongoing web-based activities.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older with ability to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based training between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Travel to in-person training Jan 19–25, 2027 and post-training activities.
• Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Contact and interview households in-person or by phone.
• Schedule, conduct, and complete interviews; transmit data daily.
• Attend required training and follow data security rules.
• Maintain travel and vehicle readiness as needed.
