Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews for MEPS.

The role involves traveling to training in January 2027, engaging with households, scheduling and completing interviews, and handling documents while complying with data security requirements. Part-time field positions run in two data collection periods each year, with some evenings and weekends, and potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study and Teams sessions (Jan 2027).
• Must travel to and attend in-person training (Jan 2027) and post-training activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect signed documents.
• Transmit data daily on days worked and comply with data security requirements.
