Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households, recruit participants, and manage accompanying documents.

The role requires travel for mandatory training in January 2027 and potential local/long-distance travel during data collection periods. This part-time position runs yearly with two data collection rounds and includes overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older with ability to enter binding confidentiality agreements.
• Available to complete mandatory training and online sessions between January 2027.
• Available to travel for mandatory in-person training and occasional long-distance travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with households.
• Contact households to set appointments, complete interviews, and collect documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily and comply with data security requirements.
