Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to join our Field Operations Team for field/project based work across the United States. The role supports the MEP Project Manager in subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and budgeting, with emphasis on safety and quality on industrial projects.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, extensive reading of drawings, and excellent communication. Willingness to travel and manage on-site activities from pre-start to completion is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 10+ years in construction
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sectors desirable
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, financial reports, and contracts

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Assist in developing scopes of work and MEP project schedule
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and reporting
• Coordinate on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion
• Ensure safety and quality standards on site
• Lead/supervise subcontractors and field staff as needed
