Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to join our Field Operations Team on field/project based work in the United States. Travel to project sites nationwide is required; the candidate will assist the MEP Project Manager with subcontractor coordination, scope development, and scheduling while ensuring safety and quality standards on site.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction with strong leadership, reading drawings, and vendor management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 10+ years construction experience, or 15+ years with increased responsibility.
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sector highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and reports.
• No visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work and project schedules for review and approval.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start to completion.
• Review drawings and coordinate field updates; support cost tracking and reporting.
• Assist in pricing work, draft changes, and change orders for PM review.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain safety/quality standards on site.
• Lead or support supervision of subcontractors and labor, ensuring schedules are met.
