Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead pre-construction through project closeout for mechanical construction projects. You will manage scheduling, budgets, and subcontractor agreements while collaborating with engineers, architects, and field teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years in construction, 5 years leading multi-million dollar projects, and proficiency in MS Projects, AutoBid, P6 Scheduler and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of experience in the construction field leading projects up to $15M in scope.
• Experience with Microsoft Projects, Office, Excel, Word, etc.
• Experience with AutoBid, P6 Scheduler and Bluebeam are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pre-construction, preplanning, and construction project scheduling processes.
• Review and approve project budgets (labor, material, and subcontractors) to allocate resources from start to finish.
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors.
• Manage project finances including profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards; lead change order processes and cost reporting.
