Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10+ years of experience in construction.
• 5 years of experience leading projects up to $15M in scope.
• Experience with project controls, cost management and procurement.
• Ability to train estimating staff and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pre-construction, preplanning, and scheduling process.
• Review and approve budgets (labor, material, subcontractors).
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors.
• Manage project finances including profitability and cash flow.
• Lead design conflict resolution with engineers and architects.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost reporting.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards on site.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue new work opportunities.
