Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest seeks a Mechanical Estimator in Dallas to lead MEP estimating, budgeting, and bidding across projects. You will develop hard bids or negotiated pricing by gathering cost data from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring complete scope coverage and timely submissions.

The role requires 2–3 years of MEP estimating, strong software skills (Take Off, Bluebeam, Destiny), and effective communication with clients and vendors to optimize cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of MEP estimating experience.
• Proven ability to develop complete labor and material costs.
• Proficient with Excel and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and perform quantity take-offs for MEP projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and analyze bids for conformance.
• Maintain current knowledge of codes affecting bids and estimates.
• Prepare and organize estimate packages and cost databases.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve estimate issues.
