Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to lead MEP estimating for complex projects. You will review plans, take-offs, and supplier data to develop hard bids and negotiated pricing, working with architects, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate, competitive proposals.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in construction/MEP related field and 2–3 years of estimating experience, strong Excel and Takeoff tool skills, and proven ability to manage data,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or MEP related field and 2–3 years estimating experience.
• Well-developed estimating, budgeting, purchasing, negotiation, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of all construction systems including mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for MEP projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids; analyze bids for conformance and cost.
• Maintain current information on codes and market trends for accurate bids.
• Develop inclusion worksheets and track subcontractor bidding progress.
• Compute cost factors and prepare bids for management decisions.
