Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to lead MEP estimating, budgeting, and bidding for multiple commercial projects. You will review plans, perform quantity take-offs, solicit subcontractor bids, and ensure complete, competitive cost proposals backed by accurate data.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-3 years of MEP estimating experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Take Off, Bluebeam, Destiny,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction, mechanical, or electrical engineering or related field with MEP experience.

Responsibilities

Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for MEP projects.
Solicit subcontractor bids and review bids for conformance to specs and costs.
Maintain updated knowledge of construction codes and market trends.
Develop scope inclusion worksheets and track bid completion.
