Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to lead MEP estimating, budgeting, and bidding for assigned projects. You will work with architects, clients, and operations to ensure alignment on objectives, schedules, and costs.

Responsibilities include preparing hard bids or negotiated pricing, gathering cost data from subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining a centralized estimating database.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field with mechanical or electrical subcontractors experience.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for MEP projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and review bids for conformance to specs and costs.
• Maintain cost data and analyze discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
