Summer Consultants, Inc. is seeking Mechanical Engineering Interns for Summer 2027. You will support real project work in HVAC and plumbing design, performing field surveys, calculations, and layout tasks for existing buildings.

Qualifications

• Two years of college toward a degree in architectural or mechanical engineering with HVAC focus.
• Interest in HVAC, plumbing, building systems, and renovation of existing facilities.
• Willingness to spend meaningful time in the field surveying and documenting conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and plumbing design on renovation and existing-building projects.
• Participate in field surveys to observe and document building conditions.
• Assist with HVAC and plumbing calculations, layouts, and equipment selection.
• Translate survey information into project drawings and design docs.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD to support project work.
