Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. invites ambitious engineering students to join our MEP Engineering Internship Program for Summer 2027.

You’ll collaborate with seasoned engineers, contribute to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, and gain hands-on experience on real building projects across diverse markets. You’ll enhance technical skills with AutoCAD and MS Office, while developing communication and teamwork abilities essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program.
• Must have completed at least one year of college before the internship begins (rising sophomores eligible); juniors and seniors preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering projects.
• Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Gain exposure to real-world projects across a variety of industries and markets, applying classroom knowledge to projects that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainability, and performance.
• Participate in professional development, networking opportunities, and intern program activities.
