Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is offering MEP Engineering Internships for Summer 2027. Interns will work with experienced engineers on real building design projects, learning how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integrate to support high-performing spaces.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, have completed at least one year of college, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, enrolled full-time in an accredited program.
• At least one year of college completed before internship start; rising sophomores eligible; juniors/seniors preferred.
• May 2027 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship Program.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering projects.
• Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Gain exposure to real-world projects across industries, focusing on energy efficiency and performance.
• Participate in intern program activities and professional development.
