Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking MEP Engineering Interns for the 2027 Summer Internship Program.

Interns will work with experienced engineers on real building design projects, learning how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integrate to support high-performance spaces across diverse markets. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, enrolled full-time, with at least one year of college completed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program.
• Must have completed at least one year of college before the internship begins (rising sophomores eligible); juniors and seniors preferred.
• May 2027 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship Program.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering projects.
• Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
• Gain exposure to real-world projects across industries and markets, focusing on energy efficiency, sustainability, and performance
• Participate in professional development, networking opportunities, and intern program activities
