Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking MEP Engineering Interns for the 2027 Internship Program. Interns will work with experienced engineers on real building design projects, learning how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integrate to enable high-performing spaces.

Interns will gain exposure across industries, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in professional development activities while contributing to energy-efficient and sustainable designs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program.
• Must have completed at least one year of college before the internship starts (rising sophomores eligible).
• May 2027 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship Program.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering projects.
• Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Gain exposure to real-world projects across various industries with focus on energy efficiency and performance.
• Participate in intern program activities and professional development.
