Job summary

Stantec GS is seeking a BIM Technician to join their Engineering team. The ideal candidate will understand mechanical and electrical systems (Sheetmetal, HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems).

Working with Engineers and Designers, you will create and organize standard document content, and support the preparation of projects, plans, drawings, details, and specifications in accordance with Stantec standards, client standards, specifications, and building codes.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM processes and MEP systems for building projects.
• Advanced Revit MEP and Navisworks proficiency required.
• Knowledge of ACC/BIM 360 and BEP development.

Responsibilities

• Design building mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting) for industrial and military projects.
• Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines for clash-free integration.
• Develop and maintain Revit models, templates and content libraries.
• Create BIM Execution Plans and project standards with teams.
• Lead coordination meetings and support tendering and construction phases.
• Perform field reviews and verify construction against design.
