Job summary

Stantec is seeking a BIM Technician to join its Engineering team in the United States. You will create and organize standard content, support project drawings, and ensure compliance with Stantec and client standards and codes.

Your focus includes mechanical and electrical systems, BEPs, and model coordination across disciplines. Ideal candidates have hands-on Revit MEP experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to project delivery in industrial and military contexts.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of BIM processes and standards for building mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience on mechanical and electrical building projects with HVAC, plumbing, drainage and electrical systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and electrical systems for industrial/military projects.
• Develop, manage, and maintain Revit models and templates.
• Create BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models and resolve conflicts.
• Mentor technologists in BIM best practices.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and project phases.
