Job summary

Stantec is seeking a BIM Technician to join their Engineering team. The role focuses on developing and organizing Revit MEP models for mechanical and electrical systems, coordinating with Engineers and Designers, and supporting the preparation of projects, plans, drawings, details, and specifications in line with Stantec standards and building codes.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and ACC/BIM 360, plus strong collaboration, problem solving,

Qualifications

Comprehensive BIM processes and standards for building mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience on mechanical/electrical building projects with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Advanced proficiency with Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage and ACC/BIM 360.
Proficient in Office Suite; Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in design of mechanical and electrical systems for industrial/military projects.
Coordinate BIM models across disciplines for clash-free integration.
Develop, manage, and maintain Revit models, templates, and content libraries.
Create and implement BEPs and project standards.
Support tendering and construction phases as required.
Mentor technologists in BIM best practices and conduct field verifications.
