Stantec is seeking a BIM Technician to join the Engineering team in Charlottesville, VA. The role focuses on creating and organizing standard BIM content for mechanical and electrical systems, and supporting project plans, drawings, and specifications in line with Stantec and client standards.

You will work with Engineers and Designers to maintain Revit models, assist in BEP development, and ensure model coordination across disciplines while advancing BIM delivery across projects in industrial

Qualifications

• Experience creating and organizing BIM content for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to develop BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project standards.
• Understanding of building codes and client standards.

Responsabilités

• Actively participate in the design of building mechanical (HVAC and Plumbing) and electrical (Power and Lighting) systems.
• Coordinate with engineering and architectural disciplines to ensure accurate and clash-free model integration.
• Develop, manage, and maintain Revit models, templates, and content libraries for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to create and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project standards.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical designs, models and drawings packages with other disciplines as part of complete design solutions.
• Identify discrepancies in models, drawings and information and resolve through appropriate methods and channels.
• Mentor and train technologists in MEP Revit and BIM best practices.
