Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager, MEP to support field operations on multiple projects across the United States. This hands-on role requires coordinating site activities, reviewing drawings, and supporting the MEP Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and at least five years of related experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to travel to project sites. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail applications.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to assist planning and staffing for each construction phase.
• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Prepare estimates for MEP self-performed work and assist in overall project estimates.
• Review drawings (P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural) and coordinate field updates.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start to completion.
• Schedule work and determine materials, equipment, and tools needed.
