Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager, MEP to join our Field Operations Team on field/project based assignments across the United States. The role supports the MEP Project Manager in subcontractor sourcing, scheduling, and coordination from pre-start-up through project completion.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree or equivalent with 5+ years related experience, strong teamwork, self-motivation, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.
• Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule and prepare estimates for MEP self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
• Serve as on-site Safety Officer when not assigned to the project and participate in the company's safety program.
