Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across certified treatment centers in a territory that includes expected travel up to 70%. This field-based role combines clinical education, account management, and patient access to support launch execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience in specialty or complex areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, Buy-and-Bill, and payer processes.
• Proven success launching novel therapies; pre-launch experience a plus.
• Experience with site-of-care models and complex treatment centers.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist providers with referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to onboard and optimize workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and operational considerations.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and assisting providers.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy.
• Manage territory business planning and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, patient-centric behaviors.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within sales.
