Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of our innovative mental health therapy across certified treatment centers in a defined territory. You will develop partnerships with psychiatrists and healthcare providers while ensuring regulatory, safety, and patient access alignment.

Field-based with up to 70% travel, this role blends clinical education, account management and launch execution to shape a new mental health treatment ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Proven track record of building trust-based relationships with healthcare providers.
• Experience launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and behavioral health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and guide referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding and optimization of workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics including scheduling and patient flow.
• Partner across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and assisting providers.
