Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across a defined US territory. The role emphasizes clinical education, provider engagement, and patient access, with up to 70% travel and close collaboration with Medical Affairs and Market Access teams.

The candidate will work with treatment centers and healthcare systems to support onboarding, education, and reimbursement processes, shaping a new treatment ecosystem in mental health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years pharma/biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapies.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets; medical and payer reimbursement knowledge.
• Experience with buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics; prior authorization and payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist with referral pathways.
