The Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner (Part-Time) to enrich residents’ daily lives through empathy, observation, and meaningful engagement. This role supports a warm, home-like environment and collaborates with memory care teams to deliver person-centered care.

Responsibilities include documenting care changes, supporting staff orientation, and maintaining compassionate communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Must be active; able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk all day.
• Criminal clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy by building human connections with residents.
• Act as Patient Observer to identify interests and abilities and implement engagement plans.
• Master the Mise en Scène by preparing environment for daily activities and events.
• Serve as Life Partner, supporting residents through daily routines.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
