Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks a Medication Technician for Memory Care to safely administer prescribed meds per MAR/TAR, provide personal care, manage ADLs, and collaborate with LPN/LVN/RN to ensure safety and quality care in a compassionate setting. Shift is 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.

Duties include verifying medications, logging daily activities, restocking supplies, and participating in trainings. Requires a High School diploma or GED; current Medication Technician certification per state rules is

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Years of Experience: 1+ months of experience.
• Type of Experience: Senior Living preferred.
• Special Certifications: Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• Language Skills: Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and emergencies.
• Technical Competencies: Basic computer proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Safe administration of prescribed medications per MAR/TAR.
• Provide personal care and assist with ADLs.
• Provide general nursing care including vitals and measurements.
• Document information in the daily log and notify supervisor.
• Answer calls and assist residents as needed.
• Maintain med carts and restock supplies weekly.
